Up until a few months ago www-sj.g**gle.com was the place to get the most recent Google updates. Has it been replaced by www-in.g**gle.com?

There are many Google datacentres. It might be that some of the older machines have been replaced with newer ones.
The known datacentres are at www-fi.google.com, and then at -in, -va, -ab, -dc, -cw, -ex, -zu, -sj, -lm, -mc, -kr, and -gv.

Advocates of conspiracy theories are probably, at this moment, starting rumours that sj was the last machine to contain a decent index, and as such it's been taken to a safe place where the index can be carefully preserved for all time and kept away from the real world...
(No, it's a joke, but you saw it here first!) DerekH
