We are starting another site, and the name we want is now available with the .ws extension.
Would we have any problem having a widgets.ws e-commerce site?

I found one spammer with 1500 duplicate .ws domains ranking really high in google, then he got deleted halfway through this update, other then that i've never seen a ws domain.

My main info site is a .ws domain. I know of other non-spam .ws sites out there.

We don't have any built in penalty (or boost) for the top-level domain..

Thank you GG. I'm trying to find a way to tranfer my .ws to a cheaper registrar. Nobody replies. :( I may have to tell my co-webmaster this is the way it is. This domain name can't be discarded.
