Poison Keywords

Does Google still care about these?

I did a site search for "poison keywords" and most of the threads were fairly old. Is there anything different these days with regard to how Google treats so-called "poison keywords"?

C'mon it's the weekend - please mangle them and post them here so we can all have a chuckle/experiment with them.

Seriously - I'n not actually joking!

I should think that with a slig*t m*ngling we could read them fine, as I hope I just dem*nstrated.

PS : In the interests of equality, I should also say that womangling them would be equally good...

old, but the idea is still applicable. Those with tons of content, KNOW there are certainly some poison keywords out there.

The worst of the lot, would be adult words on G rated pages. The problem is figuring out what adult words are the trigger.

Hmmm, I have some of the poison words too in my site. But it doesn't seems to affect much. :)

Interesting to read the article in searchengine world and discover that forum and forums are poison words. Especially as they are preprinted on every page in this foru... oops!

How does that work exactly then?

A certain validation/ keyword density tool specified that a client's site had a few poison words, but none were adult in nature. One referred to what WebmasterWorld is, one was a term that defines the "D" in ODP and the other was something that one would sign. It seemed silly to me as they are used in a logical context on this site owner's real estate related site, but he still freaked.
