Hi there everyone :)

I have a site at www.keyword1-keyword2.co.nz that I have submitted to Google and I am waiting to be listed. However in the mean time another url that I own has turned up in Google that points to my website, but I did not want it to and I am unsure how it got there. The url relates to a specific product and uses a free redirect to point to a specific part of my site.

I do not want to get penalised for domain name spamming, and I am wondering if anybody out there knows how to stop Google listing a domain in preference for another.

Cheers!
Ben.

PS I do not have access to server side scripting to point to a specific directory.

It sounds as though someone has linked to the domain listed in Google. If I was you, I would find out who links to that domain and get them all to change to other link:)

Well, it gets stranger and stranger. The 2nd domain has developed a page rank of 3. And yet a search on google for any web sites with the domain in it comes back with no results. So the site I wanted listed isn't, and the one that I didn't is...and with a page rank! I know I shouldn't post domain names or key words, so you are just going to take my word on all this...

Any ideas?
