I was trying to figure out why a 400+ page website was not getting its pages indexed. I finally realized that Google actually had indexed the entire site--but using the ip address, not the domain name.

The 'site: ip-address -asdkj' command reveals that the entire site is indexed with the IP address. Clicking on a link in the search results brings up a page in the site because the site is on a dedicated IP address--and it should.

But how do I get the domain name indexed and NOT the IP address? Or will this straighten itself out over time?
Is this something to be concerned about?
