Google using Older Cache

Yesterday Google did an index of my site, and today they are using one from early october, dropping my site several positions. The funny thing is, my site was just added to the google directory today (the index doesn't indicate that I'm in there yet though).

Whats going on? Should I expect my site to come back stronger once they start using the latest googlebot page?

Too early to say

Give it another month or so, Google just updated Pagerank, then just updated the Google directory. In a while it might rerank the search results.

what the.... NOW Google is showing an even OLDER version of my site, from early september! Googlebot came by two days ago, why is the cached version going in reverse?
