Google and Last Cache Date

Why does Google only sometimes display the cache date?

Hi

Has anyone noticed that on some days, google displays the last date a page was cached, right next to the link for the cached version?

However, some days they do not. I don't understand this.

It seems that only frequently spidered sites get the date at all, but I can't figure out why some days they have it, and some days they do not.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Sorry not to notice this...

Do a search in this forum on Everflux and Freshbot - you'll find a very clear answer there.
The dates are "fresh dates" - high PR sites with pages that change often are very likely to have fresh dates on show. Low PR sites with pages set in stone aren't...
