After this last "update" I noticed that although my total backlinks increased, my internal (own page backlinks) decreased. These pages now have no cache, but have kept their PR. I have an idea I have received a penality and also think I know why - I've since fixed the problem(sticky me for details). My "still cached pages" are doing well in the SERPs. I've had rather good luck writing google help in the past and I did again this time stating the problem and how it was fixed. I even asked for a manual review (can't hurt). Another thing I've noticed is that the Gbot seems to be staying away from my website (not a good sign). The mistakes I made were not done intentionally. Has anyone recovered from a similiar situation. I'd hate to start a new site because of a major goof on my part.
Added: One page has a cache from 2002 - not sure of the specific month
