I remembered seeing some postive remarks on this code somewhere on this forum or other Seo forums. It was said this code will help boost both keyphrases's rankings. Would like to confirm the power of this. I need you guys's opinion on this. Thanks in advance.

It's actually the title attribute which some like to use, but others say they've seen no evidence of it doing any good.

It will not. But ALT of an image will.

I use it and do not see any reason not to do it. The weight that google applies to the title tag is probably very low but it could not hurt a page.

Hi newsphinx,

Im with Rugles on this. If it is allowed by the html spec, and it is, then use it. The more information that we can give to our documents the better. You should not think of this in terms of if the engines will pick it up or not, but rather, does it make sense for you to add this to your site.

There is a post around here somewhere that dives into this issue further... Can't find it fast right now. You should familiarize yourself with the search engine of this site.

I use it not for google ranking but for the reason when you mouseover a link, you get a 'tooltip' to show more information.
