Google Directory search broken?

restricting to directory does not work anymore since yesterday

When searching from the Directory tab (directory.google.com) I used to be able to restrict the search to pages listed in the Google Directory, or in a particular category.

Since about yesterday this does not seem to work. The search results seem to be the same as the regular Google web search results.

Sheesh, I see what you mean.

I just performed a search confined to a category and #1 results was from a different cat.

Poor form.
