Wouldn't it be nice if the google gods created a pagerank:url feature? Or is forcing someone to use your software an acceptable practice? I love the toolbar but I've seen a few discussions about not being able to determine pagerank and a pagerank: feature in the google search should be a reasonable tool for them to implement.

If they were nice they could even return results recursively for linked pages. Of course, this could be abused and eat up their resources pretty quick. But I would be happy with manually entering each page. What do you think?

This would make many webmasters very happy but it is unlikely that they will do this in the foreseable future. An even better idea would be to allow webmasters to design a page with a load of urls on it and have Google fill in the PR for each url. However, I don't see that ever happening.

My own suggestion would be to include the PR on the search results (in the same way it is displayed in the Google directory). Using server-side includes, graphics and a little obfuscation, automated PR searches could be made very difficult (but not impossible) but I doubt Google will ever do this.
