Textual Content Put Into Title!

Just noticed on one site I've just started working on has a standard title of "home page" but in the google listings the title is some textual content from the content on the page!

This site has always had the title of "home page" nothing else and the cache states the title as "home page" also.

Looks like google is changing titles of pages if the current one is not up to scratch as it were. So we will get non-promoted sites higher up the rankings because of the modified titles.

Good change IMO. Gets the people who don't know SEO a better chance of being seen.

Or this could be a bug.

Anyone else seen this.
