Hi guys, I really need your help on this. I have an immigration site and have been trying to market it on Google for quite some time but it doesn't seem to rank in the top 10 in google under the keywords I am looking for. My site is [snip]... I am trying to list the site under the keywords:

[snipped specifics]

and some other keywords that I already put in the title of the page and the content. I tried almost everything to optimize the website but google doesn't seem to pick more than the first splash page. How can I have Google cache more than just the first page and how can I have the site be listed under the previously mentioned keywords?

Thank you for your help. It is very appreciated.

welcome to the forums webmaster1978

careful now, specific urls and keywords are not allowed. We manage to get by without them pretty well.

your question might be better suited to the Google News forum, but before you get lost in a sea of information, I recommend you read this [webmasterworld.com ] - it's the best basic guide to ranking a site with Google around, written by Brett, who runs webmasterworld.

From there, you can get your more specific questions answered.

The topic is very competitive, doing the first search returned over 3,000,000 hits. Only 10 out of these 3,000,000 can be on the first page of the results.

Google gives a lot of weight to the number of sites that link to you. Google shows zero sites linking to you, and shows over 2,000 links to the site in number one position.
