Hi all. What's the rhyme and reason for the order of sites displayed when using the link: search? How about the order of pages listed that are within the site that's being checked? Thanks.

I don't see any rhyme nor reason, except that if there was we'd be able to reverse engineer Google more easily.

For a very brief period of time earlier this year -link: appeared to rank sites by PR.
