Datacentres Almost All Different

Ok, this morning I saw a big change for one of my favorite keyword earners.

Keyword was a miss-spelling and I have been number 1 for a good few months - did not think it would last but good while it did. (The Anchor Text Knob seems to have been turned a bit higher - hard to get links with miss-spellings (unless you are or know anyone at domz;)))

Right then so time to give up on this keyword?

However looking at the Datacentres I dont where they are going - results accross the datacentres for the keyword is as follows:-

www-ex = 32
www-sj = 32
www-va = 18
www-dc = 34
www-ab = 60
www-in = 23
www-zu = 34
www-cw = 9
www-fi = 8
www-gv = 18

I have never seen the datacentres so out of line - ho hum, I'll wait this one out and see if any settles - anyone else experiencing this?

Just an update on the phrase I am watching.

Datacentres are still all out of line and my site is in the following positions accross the dcs:-

28, 41, 25, 41, 38, 30, 25, 40, 20, 47.

I am going to have to give up on this phrase as I dont know if it is coming or going!

Rankings are all changing here in the uk - showing the tell tale temporary sub pages being indexed so i guess its a refresh of the index.,

my keyword (2 words) shooted from 2.4 million results to 10.6 million in 3 days .. amazing isn't it?

i figure this update will be a big one and is due in 10 days.

My sites haven't been crawled for more than 24 hours (normally, they are spidered at least once a day).
Anyone experiencing the same?

Sites with a decent PR are getting crawled daily and the cache snapshot also get updated very quickly!

true, i have learnt that when google acts weird, check for other symptoms as well - change in no. of results found for keywords you follow, etc... if it's not normal, then check again after a day .. should be gone mostly.

Does anyone have any idea which datacentre we should be monitoring as a precursor to the "update"? They are still all over the place for me.

I would like to think that we can stick with the old WWW2 and WWW3, since these are kind on my sites.

They seem to be quite together right now. When they were screwed up www-zu seemed to always have the better results for me and they finaly all settled on what zu had. This could just be me. Anybody else see that.

I also just noticed that the number of results keeps getting bigger and bigger every week. I have a 2 word phrase that was at 970,000 not that long ago and was 2mil just 2 weeks ago now it is at 7.5mil.
