Keyword references drop in past 24 hours.

I often search/research a particlar keyword each day. Just in the past 24 hours the keyword's number of references has dropped from 389,000 to 208,000 references. It's generally only ever gone up, two steps forward and one step back per month. But this is a big drop. Anyone noticed anything similar on their fav keyword(s) very recently?

Yep, seems like a random number generator.
My keyword usually is at tens of thousands, now its half a million.
