hi, if i have more than one links to my page from another page google only counts that once for pr, right. what happens to the anchor text? will it count that three times? what if the anchor text is different in the different links, one of them just has my url... will it only count the anchor text of the first one, or all three?

Yes, dublicate links are removed.

will it count that three times?

When you have the same link three times they count as much as one link.

At least in the case of internal links.

but which anchor text will it count towards my site, the anchor text in the first link or all three? coz id rather it uses the ones with key words than the one with my url, which is pretty useless.

how about links to different pages of the same site.

Made up example:

site is digits.com
page1 is fingers.htm
page2 is thumbs.htm.

If you were targetting keywords: fingers, thumbs and fingernails.

A separate high-ranking site, say body.com, contains links:
Fingers - fingers.htm
Thumbs - thumbs.htm
Fingernails - fingers.htm

to generate to nice anchor links for different keywords.

Would fingernails link be ignored?

from my experience, no .. anchor text have value no matter how many links from the same page. Maybe the PR is only passed once per page even for 3 links. But anchor text is valued.
