Is it key to get index banned?

Hi, I've a site which it looks like it was visited soon by spiders and added to Google index.
It just let some pages be prepeared to rank (of course PR0 at the very beggining).
I'm newbie to all these tech stuff on how to rank better on Google so while reading I realized I didn't have to write text at the same background color (if that's hidden or invisible text) and so I remove it from my pages.
But... it looks like spiders don't come to my site anymore. It's having more and more visits everyday right now reaching 210 unique visitors per day.
Is it possible Google removed my site from their index databases? Will spiders collect my data again?
I'd appreciate any comments about this topic.

Thanks in advance,

Marcelo.

Same color text as background is BAD. Don't do it. If you can enter your url in Google search and find it then you're not banned. Google likes sites with lots of pages that get updated on a regular basis. Keep working on the site and inbound related links. You may see better results soon. Watch for a date beside your listing. That's a freshbot listing and a sign that Google has noticed your updates and is watching you. Keep working on the site and improving it and see if your rank changes. You may get updated daily if freshbot keeps coming back.
