Have been doing
link:www.mysite.com -abcd
to display all my pages listed in google, but have noticed that now you can just type
link:www.mysite.com
and it will display the links.

For some sites though, ex www.yahoo.com, the two queries show different numbers of pages - in yahoo's case a vastly different number of pages.

Anybody know why?

To find all your pages you use allinurl:

I haven't had link:www.mydomain.com work without the +abcde. Is it just today or have you seen it before?

I'm sorry, this is a false alarm. Maybe you want to delete this post... I was confusing link:xxx.com and site:xxx.com. The behaviour has not changed for site:xxx.com. Thank you Marcia.

link:xxx.com does work without the -abcd though. No, I haven't seen it before and think it is new.

LOL. I'm wrong, what was I thinking. I guess I wasn't, I've only done this a couple dozen times the past couple of days.

link: is fine without, it's site: Here it is

[google.com...]

The word "site" followed by a colon enables you to restrict your search to a specific site. To do this, use the site:sampledomain.com syntax in the Google search box. For example, to find admission information on Stanford's site, enter:

admission site:www.stanford.edu
