Hi

Welcome to Webmaster world

How about some more info.

1- how long has the site been up
2- how many links have you got
3- have you linked to any sites recently that have a zero PR

lets start with that

Have you tried sacrificing a virgin to the gods of search engines to improve your fortune? ;)

On a serious note, is your site clean? As in, no hidden text, part of a link farm, etc. that would attract the Google Death Penalty?

i have the same problem, for me it has to do with confusion with another domain name, google was confusing this domain name with our site, see my profile for the confused sites....It still hasn't fixed, however my back links are now somewhat fixed

voltus, you must have done something recently that Google didn't like. Either you applied spam to your site or you changed your navigation which made it impossible for Googlebot to follow your links.

subdomain.mydomain.com still normal

Google treats subdomains as separate sites. Whatever is wrong with your main site probably isn't on your subdomain.

I don't think thats a valid concern these days. Linking to an obviously bad neighbourhood can still be a bad thing, you just can't identify bad neighbourhoods with the toolbar anymore.
The first search that came to mind brought up a lot of stuff about ringtones. That city may have some bad neighbourhoods. Just a thought.
It's more likely that Google has temporarily switched to an index that doesn't include backlinks it may have just found in July.
