Google UK country filter

Will my .co.uk site be listed in the UK Pages Results with a non UK IP?

Will my .co.uk site be listed in the country specific UK Pages Results with a non UK IP address?

I have read conflicting opinions that:

(1) you need both a .uk ccTLD and a UK IP address

(2) with a .co.uk ccTLD the IP address does not matter (but with a .com it does).

What's the current thinking on this?
