6th month PR0

Reason?

Dear Guys and Gals,
I'm very thankful to you for reading my post in advance.
I registered domain (quite a competitive keyword domain) in Feb/2003. I developed a site and got quite many links to this domain. I also got listed in Google index. But still - PR0. Until this update (29/08/2003) google showed 25 links. Now google doesn't show incoming links (in www2, www3). PR the same 0 .

When the site got listed in google and got 25 incoming links, PR was still 0 for several months.
I think the reason for that might be its bad past. Maybe it was banned previously and that's why such a competitive keyword domain was free.
Now I don't understand why are all incoming links lost, despite I increased incoming links.

If anybody knows anything about the case like mine, Please advice me what can I do If my site was previously banned.
Does anybody know a possible reason for loosing all incoming links?

Many of my backlinks were lost today. Normal it's over 1000, but for a brief period today it reduced to about 50. Later on it increased again.
Hang on in there!

[webmasterworld.com...] - googleguy on expired domains - if it was still banned i doubt it would have made it into the index - but i may be wrong

As stuartc1 has said, Google is currently shuffling PR/Backlinks. I just checked your site and it shows a PR5.
