how long could be a ban?

having a huge problem with Google, as he seems to have a problem with one of my sites.

he came couple of times, crawled couple of pages, but since 8th of August, nowhere to be seen.

we put once on adwords the target url domain.com/google which was basically a mirror of the homepage, so we could track, how many people come from there, and next day google came and crawled the page and now I think, he migth have penalised it for duplicate content.

The site is still in the index, if I look for the domain name, has over 200 backward links, even just 2 month old, but nowhere to be seen for the keywords targeted, and it should be at least within the Top 20.

Any ideas, anyone can help, how I can get the bot back, could it be a ban, when can I expect another visit, what would you do :))

Add the following meta tag to your target url page and Googlebot won't index it.

we took out the google page off already long time ago, but all of my other sites get deep crawled regularly, almost every day, just this one is being ignored and I canīt find any logical explanation.
