My experience with freshness dating is that G mearly captures the page on the said date. I have made recent changes to pages prior to the date and SERP has not changed. The changes are reflected in the G cache. I made some fairly drastic changes in Keyword Density and others to see what might happen with Freshness updates. (Nothing, IMO)
So, what is freshness dating if it only reflects the date of what they store in the cache? If the fresh page is not refelcted in SERPS, why date it?
Are others seeing the same results?
