Well this one was kind of weird for me after maintaining a pr 6 for almost 1/2 a year, Suddenly I drop to a pr 4 what did I change? I took the pop-ups off my site... Just thought it was kind of weird has any one else had this happen?
PS. I know theres a variety of reasons why pr drops i just want to see if its related by others experiences.

Google actually dislikes popups and won't approve Adwords for a page that has a popup/popunder. It's very unlikely that removing a popup hurt your PR.

I doubt the removal of popups was in any way related to your drop in PR. You should look at other possibilities for why your PR dropped.

Large numbers of sites that I look at regularly have suffered drops in PR. And as PR is passed to sites that they link to, I guess this has a domino effect ...
The drop in PR also seems to have affected sizeable parts of DMOZ.
