Outbound linking

True url when linking or using an adserver

Hi,

I have read a number of posts here about outbound links - and it has been suggested that one should link to something relevant on each pahe if at all possible.

My question is:

If I have an article about Oracle's new products - does it then matter if I link as:

Related: <a href="http://www.oracle.com" target="_blank">http://www.oracle.com</a>

or

Related: <a href="http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/jump.cgi?id=1234" target="_blank">http://www.oracle.com</a>

I have read that linking to 3rd party sites "gives away" some of your PR - but also read that Google likes portals that links to relevant sites..

Any opinions?
