Hi guys,

I inserted a new URL into googleīs Add URL form in late May and it still hasnīt been added to the database. I find it strange, as another site I made last year was already in the database even before I submitted the URL.

Last month again I submitted yet another URL and still nothing in the database. Is anything wrong? The sites have no big deal of contents (1 is a jewelery designer and the other is my web hosting company).

Any info that can help is greatly appreciated.

Basically, it takes having inbound links and while submitting is OK it's better to be found through those.

Are the sites not in the index at all, even if you search by name or URL?

Exactly, that's what it takes! Especially from pages that get fresh-crawled. Plain and simple, that's what it takes. And like the commercial used to say, "A little dab will do-ya."

TJ and Marcia are dead on. I had a site or 8 that I submitted through the google submit a couple months ago. Nada. I got one link to each of them through a site that gets freshed enough and now those sites are indexed. One link is not enough for them to be found through the keywords I am aiming for but one decent link got them indexed.
