After submitting to DMOZ in June, and seeing my site in DMOZ via the editors.dmoz.org which is still public (But not for long) you can see all.

I have been waiting & waiting and waiting like many others and it looks like at last that google is finally moving.

As of today I checked my placing in the SERPS and bingo at last there it is, showing us as being listed in a "Category" in Google's directory.

However the Backlinks are not showing despite this, and PR has not changed yet!

But I am sure this is a start of things, and we will soon see the big movement (Phase 2) before the end of the month, we have all been sweating it out for to long now and deserve to see the results of our hard work over the last months (BE they Good or Bad results)

Has anybody else who has been waiting like me seen their site now listed with Category:?

The big question is, Has anyone seen a new backlink appear since the google directory update?

I had a new site added to DMOZ in early May, it is not yet in the Google directory. In fact the cat in which it is was completely restructured in late May, Google still shows the old structure.

Google search is showing structure for a category created on 2003-05-01 in the SERPs, for a site added to that category on 2003-05-31.

However, note that the Google directory doesn't yet contain that category.

I'm definitely noticing sites with new Google Directory descriptions dropping significantly in the SERPs as of late.
