I was wondering if Google penalizes for large file sizes... I have some product page listings on my site that might make the page in excess of 250k. Will I get dinged by Google?

Not if it's the graphics doing it, but that size should do enough to slow down page loading time to ding conversion.

You will only get the first 100K crawled. So any link listed after the first 100K will never get seen by Google.
