Some time ago here was a discussion about the maximum number of links on a page google would count when calculating pr. I don't remember the number now... 50? 100? 500? would someone point me to the discussion please

also does this number include all links, both to external and internal pages?

Furmanov,
I think you are combining two theories. First off, it has been suggested that google doesn't really like to see over 100 external links on a page, but it doesn't stop factoring them. Surfers don't like to see it either. But that number isn't written in stone, just a guideline. On a related note, google has been said to not spider past 100K of text.

I think, you are looking for this tread [webmasterworld.com].

'Keep the links on a given page to a reasonable number (fewer than 100)' is recommended by Google. I would follow that suggestion.
