Update for anyone else?

from pg1 to pg 3 on all but 1 DC

Call from client:

"We went from page 1 to page 3 on Google and nobody else has changed among the listings."

Sure enough- across all data centers except FI the site went from #6 to #23. On FI as of now- #17

There were no on-page changes made at all, but I have picked up a few good links...none of which have showed up yet.

This site was among the Dominic fiasco as it was revamped in early March. Anyone else out there with a revamped site seeing a drop?

What are other people seeing out there?

AW, I had a brand new site go live at the very beginning of March and it's not hurting at all. On another older one though, some changes were made around that time and it's been up and down like an elevator since then.

For existing already indexed pages I have not seen major position changes due to new backlinks for the last 10 days or so, before that approx. twice every 5 days (all only due to new backlinks).

Marcia, are you thinking that the backlink calculation is happening now and the results are therefore unstable as used to be the case right after a dance?
