Is this a good incoming link?

We submitted a product we sell on our website to an about.com editor for review a few weeks back, and the review has just gone live on a page of about.com. The PR is relatively low - 3 - but I've read on here that links from about.com (2 are given on the page to our site) are worth a fair bit to google. Is this true?

I am not sure about the PR value, because they do weird things with frames there when you are sent to an external link from an About page, but I get a surprising amount of traffic from a link that an About.com editor added to her section.
