how long does before google picks up sites that link to my site

How long does it take before google picks up the websites that have links pointing to my website. I have been in google for 2 months now and when I use the google link tool to find which websites have links pointing to my site it says 0 and I have know I have about 30 sites with links pointing to my site. Do I just need to be patient?

They'll pick them up the crawl following when they were put on, and you should see them the following update several weeks later. It just takes a little while - yep, you have to have patience. They'll all be found and included eventually; it's generally a couple of months before you see them, give or take.

Patience is the key, but from my understanding those links also need to have a pr4 or above to show up when you are checking for backlinks.

And if your own site does not have a PR of 4+ it will not show any backlinks.
