hi guys, some guy told me a few days ago, that he read abt and soft that calculate the possible PR.
its true....?

can someone share some ideas?.. thanks.

Sounds bogus to me. How could it test PR without access to all the links in the Google database.

i have seen some guys using scripts that can calculate the PR.
they claim its a trade secret.

havent seen any software for this.

There is a way of extracting the Google PR from an XML file on Google's site. However, you need to know a value 'ch' for the specific page. There is no way of knowing this. There was a example that worked for Y! posted here a while back.

However, the easiest way is to use the Google Toolbar. I personally wouldn't want to upset Google so ... toolbar ... toolbar ... toolbar.

ch is easy... jsut check the cache after you browse to the site with the toolbar on...

but then again why bother when you're already there via toolbar. Of course that has nothign to do with calculating the PR.

I use it in a little script that combines toolbar PR with directory PR to create a combined, high-res PR ;)
