linking from sites

Google penalizing?

Lets say I have 2-3 site that sells flowers and I know some body who has 30 sites and i ask them abt linking to my site, will google penallize if it sees that those 30 website links to only 2 or 3 website only.
Will google will penalize my sites or his 30 websites.
Can anybody explain abt hows the efficient way of linking

I cant see why you would be penalised. Getting 30 links from different sites is not harmful, it matters not that the 30 sites are owned by the same person.

If it were every page on all 30 sites linking to every page on your 2 sites, and you reciprocated in the same fashion, then there might be a problem but, other than that it should be ok.

Why not have a quick scan through the link dev. forum to see for your self?
