New pages visited by googlebot but not indexed?

I added some new pages at about the middle of the month - both freshbot and googlebot came to see them. However, in this update they're nowhere to be found. There's excellent link structure and it can be accessed via the homepage.

Everything looks good - no spam etc - so why wouldn't it be included, the rest of my site is still good, just not the new stuff?

Also, I spent the majority of the month trading links and working on content - but my site seems to be down a few notches - still good placement, just not like before. What gives? Did the algo change that much - what can bee seen as the new standard for rank - links, keywords etc? Simply put, what should I work on this month to get back to the top?

I also noticed the fact that when freshbot comes to my site now - it does not index the page. Is there something going on with my end that I could be doing wrong?

I see in here all day long how when people create pages they're within the index within a matter of days - how can I make this to my site as well?
