People say " link to a site with a high pagerank and you will get a high page rank "

Indeed this statement is very true however the algorith is indeed a mathematical equation of sorts and so as logical humans we can puzzel it out .

1) are all pagerank 9 sites linked to a pagerank 10 sites?
2)are all pagerank 8 sites linked to pagerank 9 sites?
3)take msn.com for example it is built absolutley without optimization in mind except for one characteristics links , (okay and maybe title ect , but no keywords or anything like that )

Now we look at cnn , bbc , and many other pagerank 9 and we see the same characteristics and we then look a bit deeper into the fact that the more links you have the less anything else actually counts?

am i wrong?

or are sites that based on other priciples including links doing better than msn/bbc/cnn?

they normally say "get a link FROM a site with..."
and obviously more than one good link = more than one boost of PR

read the forum, they are full of the answer to your question :D

or did i miss the point?
