This is my third Google dance, I got a page rank of 3 in the Boston update but my backlinks haven't appeared as yet, I just checked a couple and I have at least 2 of page rank 4.

Anyway I have been watching a two word phrase throughout this latest dance and was quite happy to be coming in at around 420 of 141,000, gives me something to work on. Now however there is no trace of me in the first 900 results anywhere and www is showing 661,000 on the update monitor.

I haven't been banned or anything because on .au searching for pages from Australia I'm at 16, using the exact same two word search term. Then again maybe that's not updated yet. My domain name still works as a search.

I haven't done anything dodgy, I have been fiddling with the pages making small updates and freshbot regularly drops by, in fact I thought at first that I might have had a little boost because he visited yesterday.

So what has happened? Maybe being new I was boosted up in the rankings until this last dance?

A PR3 on your homepage is too low to show any back links. It must be higher than a low PR4 on both the page with the link and the page being linked. Maybe your previous #420 ranking was helped by the freshbot. Do you see a date next to the URL in the .au search?

Thanks takagi I didn't realise I had to be a PR4 for the links to appear, will stop looking for them now.

I still don't appear on the .com search for my two word key phrase. If I use Australian keyword keyword2 it's 3 of 7430 with date of 12th April.

There is no date with the .au search so maybe it hasn't updated? Still at 16 there.
