Less backlinks for everyone

I have benn monitoring many different sites that target different markets. I have also been monitoring the backlinks of several sites in each one of thes "categories" and it seems that they all have lost backlinks. Sometimes in quite significant percentages.

I lost a number of backlinks and some of my new links did not show up this month because the PR had dropped. In some cases from a PR6 last month to a PR3 this month.

My backlinks have increased from 1,190 to 1,490.

my backlinks have increased by about 5%, but as others have noted, PR has dropped one point.

No effect on SERPs for my front page.
