Am I Penalized?

I developed a Directory type site in early March which went live on March 19th. Along with about 80 pages of content it has about 130 outgoing links and 50 good incoming links from sites pertaining to my key phrase in addition to being listed in DMOZ, Yahoo and a couple other more specialized but high PR sites. I noticed Google bot visited on the 23rd and has not been back since.
I do believe that sites that were also on this shared server and IP were penalized for crosslinking although they are still in Google. Am I also being penalized? My bar is still grey. Should I move the site to another server and IP which would be a major pain due to extensive scripting code changes?

It is also interesting to note but not entirely related that although the site is in the DMOZ directory, the Google Directory still contains sites that I know were deleted from Dmoz three months ago and does not contain sites that I know were added to Dmoz three months ago.

It sounds like your site is still new and probably will be fine in the next update (in May).

I think march 19th was just too late for the last crawl.

Crosslinking from the same IP won't get you kicked out. The links aren't going to hold the same weight, but that's OK. They still count.

I have sites that are ranked in the #1 stop in google, in the most competitive spaces on the web, for the 2nd biggest search term. They have a majority of their BW links from the same IP.

Crosslinking isn't getting you kicked out!

Just a little note: you should cut down on your outbound links.

More inbound links and Less outbound links = Better PR and ranking.

I hope this helps.

That makes about as much sense as a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders. They said their site is a Directory...

That's cute grifter. But let me ask you a question. What's the point of having a directory if no one ever can ever find it? It's a waste of time.

If all they have is outbound links, I hope they have a bunch of content, or no competition in the search term that they're going after.

Ooh, by the way, show me one of your sites that's ranked in the #1 stop in google.
