is a high PR enough?

is that good enough to get me a good ranking?

Indian, I would recommend doing some reading, you might want to start with the library here:
[webmasterworld.com...]

A high PR is great, but if you don't have the keywords, under which you want to be found in the right places on the pages: title, header, body, links, you won't get top 10 ranking for those keywords.

Also very helpful is to get your keywords in the text of the links pointing from other sites to yours.
