PR value of site of page?

What gets passed on exactly?

Okay, in my efforts to get a grip on the value of PR, I have a simple question. If a site has PR7 but the page that links to you has PR4, which value is passed on to your siye, the 7 or the 4?

First PR is page related, not site related.

If the page linking to your page has PR4, that is what the PR transfer is based on.
