Google Faking Yahoo Backlinks?

try the 3x3 checker with other terms

I'm not sure what to make of this, but if you use the 3x3 checker to check OTHER terms than the yahoo backlinks, you'll get the typical 'pre-dance' results that you'd be looking for:

[webmasterworld.com...]
www1: 698,000 www2: 695,000 www3: 695,000

[webmasterworld.com...]
www1: 30,800,000 www2: 31,600,000 www3: 31,600,000

[webmasterworld.com...]
www1: 13,900,000 www2: 14,300,000 www3: 14,300,000

I mean, if you were google, you must get tired of serving up 100,000 requests for link:http://www.yahoo.com per second to paranoid webmasters.

On the other hand, the likely answer to my own question is that backlinks are computed only once per update, and that the difference betweeen www1/2/3 is freshbot inserts (likley at the end of the index)?

Anybody willing to shed light on this for me, thanks in advance :)

Good point nerolabs. If this was true(fresbot adding backlinks), we would have a lot of false alarms with the update checker.
I don't think so. But then again i can be wrong.

The queries you posted weren't backlinks...they were regular queries....which will not indicate dancing activity...only backlinks are verifiable.
