Outbound links with javascript

Google's interpretation of this?

If I do the following ...

<a href="http://www.amazon.com" onclick="goSite('23'); return false;">amazon.com</a>

Will Google (and other search engine respectivly) still count this link into the algo as truly an outbound link?

Or has this been filtered out of the algo? Not counting links where the onClick even exists?

Thanks

I believe it will be counted. They will just ignore the onclick event.
