Question about PR flow

Let's say I setup 10 new domains and have 1 established one.

I link like this.....
established_site --> new_dom1 --> new_dom2 ---> ... etc.

No other links, so new_dom10 is only being linked to by new_dom9.

After the first update, does only new_dom1 get PR assigned to it or do all of them get PR updates after only 1 update? They've all been deep crawled already. I hope I've explained myself well :)

Just wondering how long I have to wait to get all the new sites in google, but at the same time I didn't want to create a little link farm on my established site and risk getting penalized.

I am pretty certain that they will all get a PR. No experience if it, but on the basis that pagerank is itterative, then it stands to reason it would itterate out to them all. If Im wrong hopefully i will be corrected!

CIML might know for sure, but my guess is it depends a little on the robot cycle.

It goes to the established site and sees domain 1 - then it sends back to the mother ship to crawl domain 1 - then it crawls domain 1 - sees domain 2 - communicates back to crawl domain 2 and so on.

Depending on how often your established site is crawled - my guess is this will work fine, but might take another update to catch anything it missed.

I would recommend a more failsafe way - as if one link in the chain is missed - sites from that link on down might get dropped.

If they were all deep crawled they should all be in the index. If it's really 10 domains with just the one link from each to each shouldn't we be able to get an idea of any dampening factor involved.

If you have a linking structure that creates a situation where a brand new site is getting all its PR from another brand new site, it's not uncommon for it to take a couple of cycles before they all show PR.
