Does changing the size of files help you get indexed in G

I have heard that repeatedly changing the size of the content of the site will help get a site listed in Google is this correct?

All I have ever had to do was get one link from another site to get listed in Google. Without any links, it won't matter if you change the file size so I would have to say that rumor is false.

If you mean to get a freshbot visit and then a fresh date in Google, you need to have actualy made some changes (new paragraph, new images etc) to the page for it to be classed a fresh page.

I mean to actually get the site listed initially and keep it high on Google.

If you don't change the site does GoogleBot still trawl the site and would it effect your Page Ranking.

All you need is a link for Google to find you and get listed - or to submit your URL to Google - although a link from a site already listed is a better way.

Unlikely to make any difference to your PR.

Adding and changing your content should result in better listing with time.
