Hello all.

I have a site for a company, which is hiring. They appear in google at no. 17.

They posted their requirement with an employment site, and the employemnt site made a copy of their site, added an New openings link, and posted all the pages of site no. 1 on their own site.

This works well, as potential applicants will browse the copy of the site on the employment site istelf.

Freshbot took this page, and this duplicate site on the employment site right now ranbks no. 1 for the same keywords.

The copy of the site will be removed in a months time.

Now, is this considered spam and will it be banned?

Oh, Good question!

You really ought to ask them to disallow robots from spidering the pages they copied. If a duplicate content penalty was invoked, Google might remove your pages, and leave the copied pages alone!
