Please help a relatively new webmaster. I have a site that was listed in DMOZ Septempber 9 of last year. I go to Google and do a search for link:domainname.com and the results show no links. I do have another site that show my links. Could this be due to the big snafu at DMOZ late last year? Is so, is there any realistic estimate when DMOZ/Google will be syncronized/updated?

TIA

Hi DougW,
Did you try putting the www in the link query?
link:www.domain.com
I think the google directory was updated recently, but I'm not sure if your site will be listed yet.

Check your site's PR bar in Google. If you have no PR (usually but not always because Google has a panalty against you), then you will get no backlinks showing (even though you have them).

Google treats you as a non site.
