how do i submit my image for google image search engine

Hi,
I am wodering how i can get my image to be displayed in
the google image search engine,
i able to get the search listing for my webpage where i have the image but if search for the image i am unble to get the image dispalyed in the result,
I just want to know how i can submit my image to google image serach engine,
and also if anyone know how image search engine works,

I am not the best to talk about this, but here is what i think.

I think your images will be index by google without submiting those images (I am not sure that you can submit).
All my pictures are indexed but i never submited any of them.

Yes, that's right. Google will find your images without you having to do anything. However, you better be patient with this. :) They didn't update their image search for almost a year at least but finally they did it in January 2003. Hopefully it won't take so long for the next update. Here's a thread which you might find useful:
