I just did a google search for blue widgets and the sites that appeared 4th 5th 6th and 7th have remarkable similarities.
Althouth they have different domain names, its obvious they are all related
e.g
blue-widgets-europe.com
blue-widget-england.com
blue-widget-england.net
blue-widgets-england.co.uk

plus they all have the same (or virtually the same) content.

Surely this is unfair play? I couldnt believe what i was seeing. Is google planning to do anything about this sort of thing? or are they still within the rules because of the slightly different domain names etc.

I'm listed above them for this particular search term and hopefully thats where i'll stay, but i feel like i have to keep a close eye on them. More than the others. Like i'm about to be drowned out of position..

Try an email to google@google.com, marking it attn: for Google Guy and say you are chrisandsarah from webmasterworld, hopefully he will pick it up and pass it on (he took a report of the exact same thing from me after 6 months of trying the spam report page without joy - hopefully my area's Spam problem, 9 same-same sites, will be gone soon).

I believe Google's spam report is down... I emailed them a week ago to let them know about it and they said they were working on it.

When you submit via their Spam Form it forwards to their homepage - most forms that forward to a homepage are due to an error within the form.

Any other methods of submitting a Spam Report?

Information is in the Google Forum Charter under spam reporting issues.
You can't miss it, it's in red:

[webmasterworld.com...]

It could be only a temporary thing, but I submitted a report on what it's doing with the redirection.

Google seemed to acknowledge their Spam Report Form was down in a response to me.

Thanks for the info... I'll submit the Spam Reports in this way instead.

You bet it exists in Fast Crazy_Fool! I`ve tried to report some of it to Fast, but they have never taken any action against it. So I guess they don`t care...?

So sad. Not you, just what you have to say. Unfortunately I agree, but I am going to hold out just a little bit longer. I have one legitimate "copy" site (a regional one), and I have incorporated "better" html (Hormel thus must lubricate) techniques and a link directory (I thought this was a farm, but obviously not judging the number of sites I see, report, but stay).

I have one group of Spammers in my keywords area dominating with 9 mirror sites. I have reported this to googleguy, and I hope to see them go soon. They were stupid, in that they used the same basic template and images, as well as the same content and whois information. They had two distinct groupings of Spam, but left one whois on one group with the Admin email contact as the domain in their other Spam grouping.

But if they stay, I will have to get on that same boat (with a belly full of greasy food, so I can see it repeat, and repeat) myself. But what a sad day that is, and what will it get anyone (including Google and the other search engines) in the end?
